"Cricket" is the first single from Melbourne band half/cut's eagerly-awaited sophomore album, "Salt an Atlas". Recorded with long-time engineer Neil Thomason, and mixed by Tim Whitten (The Middle East, The Necks, Art Of Fighting), the song finds the band veering as close to 'pure pop' as their innate experimental sensibilities will allow. In keeping with the song's meditations on familial relationships over the holidays, the song is debuting on Boxing Day, ahead of the album's release in early 2021.
